Stephen Lawrence is pastor of Exodus Church. Prior to planting in Springfield, Stephen fulfilled a two-year Pastoral Internship at historic Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, IL, as well as completed his Master of Arts in Theological Studies degree at Covenant Theological Seminary while serving the church through missional outreach in the community.

Prior to his call to church planting and interning, Stephen ministered for seven years as a campus minister with Campus Outreach at Eastern Illinois University and Bradley University. He is passionate about equipping the saints for the work of the ministry and seeing gospel multiplication occur.

Stephen is married to Courtney. They have three children: Layla, Dane, and Sierra.
